Weather:1 - Hotdog:0

I was up relatively early this morning, had a look out of the window and spotted a very cloudy sky line. About 15 minutes later I got a phone call from my instructor, informing me that the clouds were on the deck at Microland, and that there would not be any flying today...

Although I was prepared for bad weather this morning looking at the forecast last night, it was a lousy conclusion for all the anticipation build-up over the past week! Well, now to focus on next Monday 06:00 and get the juices flowing again. There are very few open training slots, so I will be anxiously awaiting any cancellations that might crop up.

I spent some time learning my checklists and working through the Aircraft Technical documentation, and think I will start to read up on Meteorology during the week to at least familiarise myself with the weather forecast jargon. The ground school classes will take place throughout my training, and will be presented on Wednesday nights, and the Radio course will be on a Saturday morning. I will be keeping my fingers crossed during the week for a slot to open up, but until then, safe flying for everyone and enjoy the week!
